The West Hill - Highland Creek Lions were out in force for their annual Breakfast with Santa held in conjunction with the Heron Park Community Centre and other local community groups. The Lions helped serve the breakfasts and gave each child a photo with Santa.

The West Hill - Highland Creek Lions Club held its annual spaghetti dinner at the Heron Park Community & Recreation Centre for a capacity crowd. In addition to home-cooked spaghetti, the guests heard speakers from the Sickle Cell Awareness Group of Ontario. Sickle Cell disease is a leading cause of blindness around the world.

In addition, the Club took the opportunity to present a certificate of appreciation to the West Hill Minor Hockey Association for their support.
